Welcome to the Discovery Chess Academy, an exciting addition to Kidd’s Preschool Enrichment Center. Led by Coach Kala Bagley, a passionate chess enthusiast and experienced educator, our academy offers a unique opportunity for your child to develop cognitive skills while having fun.

Coach Kala Bagley is a passionate chess instructor with several years of experience teaching young minds. In addition to being a skilled player herself, Coach Kala loves working with children and believes in the power of chess to instill valuable life skills.

Her teaching approach focuses on creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Through interactive lessons, she introduces chess concepts in a way that is accessible and enjoyable for children of all skill levels.

Our Chess Programs

We offer a range of chess programs designed for children from preschool to early elementary school. Our programs cater to all levels, from beginners to more advanced players.

Chess Foundations for Beginners
